Marian, What can I do, my dear, to catch, your ear?
Name: Marian Paroo
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Height: 5'3''
Weight: Like she's going to answer that
Appearance: Well, Marian when you first meet her is shocking to you. Her hair is bright red, and her eyes are blue. Which breaks the 'those who have red hair always have green or brown eyes' that Marian grew up with. She's skinny, almost unhealthy. Which- she'll never tell you- is one of her problems. She almost never eats. Only when with company. She gets the vitamins she needs by chewing herbs and other things then spitting them out.
Marian's hair reaches to her mid-back, but is always pulled back in a fancy style, sometimes it's just down. Marian seems pale and frail, and she is. But not mentally, if anyone tried something with her she'd find a way out of it with her brains. Marian seems tall due to her dresses, which fit snugly.
Personality: Marian refuses help, she keeps everything to herself. She's also can be a little bossy, but then she looses her backbone during a fight. Though Marian is weak in fights, she's powerful on the stage.
Marian is a little on the crazy side when around her close friends, she's a little shy when it comes to making friends. Even when she's around her family she's shy, and she knows them! It's only truly around her friends that she feels comfortable.
Wealth Status: Middle-Class.
Occupation: Chorus girl, aiming to become a star.
Personal Posessions: A small scrap of her mothers shawl, a stuffed dog from her childhood that stays in her trunk unless she's alone, and a book of hymns.
Pets: She's saving up for a flat at the moment!
Personal Motto:
Family: Deceased Mother, Father, Older Brother, younger sister.
History: Her Mother was a librarian in Ireland, and her Father was a farmer. One day the two met in the pastures, her mother delivering a package to his mother. Sparks flew, and they were married soon after.
After their first child, Alexander, Mr. Paroo decided to go into a different work style, and moved to France to be a stablehand, and eventually he worked his way to owning his own stable. As for Mrs. Paroo, she sews dresses for patrons of the Opera which is how the pair with their son learned about it. Soon after, Marian came with her grandmothers talent for singing.
When Marian was ten, her mother gave birth for the last time. Alice Paroo died giving birth to Phillip Paroo on May 23. Phillip and Marian were spitting images of their mother, and were cherished by their bitter father who eventually became an even more bitter man to the world and his clients. After a year, Marian fled from her father with her younger brother to the Opera where she lives. Her brother lives with her, but in the stagehand's living quarters. (If there are such things.)
Plot Importance: What does this mean?
RP Sample: In the silence of the night, Marian heard the door of the dancers' quarters open then shut. She sat up quickly and looked around for a weapon, in case it was a drunk stage hand. Suddenly and little person crawled up into Marian's bed and crawled under the covers.
"Couldn't fall asleep, could you?"
"No, sissy. I had a nightmare." Little Phillip said in his high-pitched quivering voice. Marian gave a nod and laid back down and placed her arm around her little brother. She stayed awake and hummed an old hymn for Phillip until he whispered.
"Where's Alexander now?"
"Traveling across wide oceans, exploring new places." Marian whispered. Phillip asked "Do you think I'll travel the oceans, sissy?" Marian told him she had no doubt. For a minute, there was silence.
"Is spotty still in your trunk?" Marian laid in the bed for a minute before getting up and shuffling through her trunk and pulling it out. The little floppy dog toy was faded, and was missing and eye. But it was still treasured by the two Paroos'. Marian gave Spotty to Phillip and he curled up with it and was asleep in a second. Marian sighed and looked out the window across the wall.
Goodnight, Alexander. Where ever you are. She pulled the covers back over her, and placed her arm across Phillip...and soon fell asleep.
((I might make a Phillip account and do a thing for him, too. Soo...yeah. I'm kinda happy with this, but not completely.))
