Name: Emma Christelle
Age: Sixteen
Occupation: Dancer, Chorus
Plot Importance: Emma's honesty and powerful attitude onstage had earned her many important spots in different musicals and plays; but within joining the Opera house she is almost always placed last- sometimes not even making it onto the stage.
Physical: Emma has black hair that's a couple of inches past her shoulders, and is usually tied back into a low ponytail or two braids, accompanied by thin bangs that are an inch away from her eyes. She has dark emerald eyes, pale skin from not staying in the sunlight for long, and is 5"3, but also looks older than she actually is. She has an average, thin body for a dancer and singer. Emma likes to wear almost anything, but mostly wears and perfers hand-me-downs from the older singers and dancers.
Personality: Emma has an unusual personality, she's very honest (or blunt), has fighting spirit and a temper with certain people, and is very smart, but doesn't think often due to her seemingly unending curiousity. She is pretty serious and quiet around people who she doesn't know well. Emma doesn't express herself often, because she doesn't have anyone to express herself to and holds almost all of her emotions in. She's often reading anything she can get her hands on.
History: Emma's quiet and stern attitude disappeared onstage and she easily fit into any part reserved for someone who looked Asian, causing her to be very popular for a couple of years. But despite her popularity she still had no friends, and just as soon as she was accepted she was shut out. Annoyed she was pushed into the shadows, Emma's parents suggested she joined the Opera house- so she did. But it didn't cure her loneliness, and eventually she was so desperate she created an imaginary friend named Edmond and speaks to him throughout her new life. But Edmond didn't help her with her sudden anger toward Christine Daae and her sister, the people who she suspects may have taken away her rising career which would have made her feel like she was worth something.
Other: Soon after arriving at the Opera House, Emma's parents died of starvation/thirst and was carefully brought up by a couple of older dancers and chorus girls. Emma can also play the piano very well.
RP sample: Emma frowned, kicking a stone. She watched it fly a couple of feet from the entrance of the Opera House, and sighed. She was so lonely, even Edmond was busy today. The only reason she wasn't was because almost nobody knew she existed; if people knew she existed they would at least notice she was gone, that she was still outside and they had locked her out.
Emma clenched her fists and stomped her foot like a child, letting out a loud scream that echoed throughout the area. She looked down in embarassment from her screech, knowing nobody would unlock the door. She was just sick of not being noticed.
The short brunette jumped off of the entrance, noticing there was a small hole at the side of the Opera House- a child or small teen could easily get in. Emma smirked softly while easily crawling through the hole, she wasn't going to wait for two and a half hours like last time. She had heard about two phantoms lurking around, but she didn't care. Why should she? They were just created by the people who had overactive imaginations.
