Name: Christine Daae/ De Changy
Age: 23
Occupation: Singer/ Dancer
Plot Importance: Christine is one of the main characters, and without her there wouldn't be a story.
She loves Raoul and Erik both dearly, and as trouble choosing between the two of them.
Physical: Tall, brunette and slim. She has long curly hair and bright brown eyes with a smile to kill.
Personality: Christine is smart, but naive at the same time. She is easily confused, but doesn't have trouble figuring out a problem. She is also tricky.
History: Christine was born swiss and her mother died when she was very very young. When she was seven, she found a boy named Raoul who saved her scarf from the ocean. She loved him since. Her father used to tell them dark stories and play his violin for them, and they would sing along if they knew the songs.
Later that year, her father died. Raoul was with her. After that, she went to live in the ballet dorms of the Paris Opera House.
When Christine was 21, she began hearing an 'angel' speaking to her. He told her he could take her to greatness with her voice and his music. They would be great together. She trusted him, her angel of music. But he betrayed her soon enough, when he found out she didn't return his secret love. She loved another; her child hood sweetheart from the house by the sea. Raoul De Changy. Of course, Erik (the angel) would not stand for this, so he drew up a plan.
His opera would be his and hers alone. But he didn't know that she had a plan of her own. When he was about to take her, she flug off his mask and showed his face to the world. He took her then, down to the hell that was his home. He attempted a forsed marriage, but when she chose him, he gave in and allowed her to leave with Raoul.
Other: Notta
RP sample: Christine opened her top drawer and produced a piece of white leather. A mask, his mask. She was frequently thinking of her fallen angel. She missed his terribly, and she knew she could never admit this to Raoul. He would take it the wrong way, no matter how she worded it. Sometimes she wished that Erik would come for her and take her away. She didn't want to think of it as kidnapping, though. That would ruin the fantasy.
Christine loved Raoul. There was no doubt of that, but there was something lacking in their relationship. It was the passion that Erik had shown her. The love and passion that music produced and spoke through the angel. That was what was missing.
